# Vancouver Game Expo

> Vancouver Game Expo (VGX) is Vancouver's inclusive, community-first gaming celebration, bringing together players, game developers, artists, content creators, and industry professionals for a weekend of play, discovery, and connection. The next expo runs December 5-6, 2026 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

## About the event

Vancouver Game Expo is a community-first celebration of gaming culture held in Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The event features upcoming and hit video games, indie game studios, artists and vendors, special guests, panels, tournaments, cosplay contests, and free play zones. It is organized by Folks At Play Inc. d.b.a. Vancouver Game Connect.

- Dates: December 5-6, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday)
- Venue: Vancouver Convention Centre, East Building Exhibition Hall A, 999 Canada Place, Vancouver, BC V6C 3T4, Canada

## Steam event

VGX also hosts the Vancouver Games Celebration, a digital showcase on Steam featuring games made in or about Vancouver, Metro Vancouver, and Vancouver Island, with demos and discounts.
